Preparation makes the finish
Most of Ealing’s houses were built before 1930, so walls often have cracks in old lath and plaster, and woodwork carries many layers of paint. We fill and sand properly, use lining paper where the plaster is uneven, and prepare old paintwork without dry sanding, because layers from before the 1960s may contain lead.
If you’re planning other work, we can decorate as the final stage of a kitchen, bathroom or full refurbishment.
